Your career journey is a continual process of improvement and advancing to accomplish your career goals.
Let’s journey together!
For my full-time gig, I am an in-house attorney in Nashville, TN. I’m passionate about technology, intellectual property, and the entertainment and media industry. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering legal support for up-and-coming internet creators.
I graduated from Samford University (B.A., Journalism) and Belmont University College of Law (J.D.). I am a former freelance graphic designer, video editor, and web editor. I have been working with Adobe products since 1998 and can’t help but continue to enjoy diving into Photoshop and Premiere, or even the super easy mobile apps like CC Express.
I currently live in Nashville, TN with my family. During the summer of 2012, I was the intern for the online webcast This WEEK in LAW. I spent a semester with the Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville and the Volunteer Lawyers & Professionals for the Arts. Also, I was a research assistant to Professor Loren Mulraine, the head of the Entertainment and Music Business department for the law school. The role of a research assistant was incredible and provided huge amounts of learning outside the classroom! The research related to social justice issues stemming from intellectual property rights. During the last part of my law school career, I was a law clerk with a boutique entertainment litigation firm in downtown Nashville and an intern with the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office.
