The First CLE Recorded with a 360° Camera

I’m excited to finally share the video recording of the CLE panel I moderated at the the American Bar Association‘s 32nd Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference in Washington, D.C.! As far as I can tell, it’s the first CLE presentation ever recorded with a 360° video camera and posted to YouTube. We discussed legal issues with augmented reality & video game development through the lens of Pokémon GO. I recommend you check it out using the YouTube app on your mobile device/VR headset or Chrome browser on your computer to experience the full effect.
A special thanks to ALLie Camera for donating the camera for us to use that day! It’s the only 360-degree video camera I could find that was capable of recording for longer than 30-40 minutes without overheating. I recorded the video directly to a laptop, and then edited in Adobe Premiere to add some of the titles and slides from our presentation.
